Focus 決定 The afterlife, or at least Asphol City, seemed to appear a lot like the busier cities on Earth. Tokyo, Hong Kong, New York City, this place seemed to be a dark fusion of such places, as the sun hadn't been seen in full view even for a single moment. It were as if it were trapped on the horizon, setting the city into a state of eternal dusk. It was overall fairly gloomy, but quiet and safe at the same time, there didn't seem to be much going on besides for the passing souls, some of them appearing as if they were going somewhere, and others dragging around, lost and wandering, much like the bald-superhuman himself. He wondered if the people here had any jobs or anything to go to. He would have guessed that they wouldn't, but with how ironic things have been so far, it wouldn't be too far off to assume some of these poor suckers are stuck at a desk job for the remainder of their eternities. The buildings seemed to be marked - stores, businesses, everything was in place, but it just all seemed so strange. Something was off. That something was probably the fact that this wasn't Earth at all. He died there. He could remember that. Slightly. Wandering around without trying anything wouldn't get him anywhere, the bald soul began to think. And so he approached one of the smaller convenience stores, passing by a poster of a horned figure promoting some sort of game that he didn't bother to look at for more than a second. Inside the store...well... It was a carryout. Nothing was strange about it at all, not even the prices were abnormal in anyway. He began to wonder if this was some sort of strange dream, or if he ever died in the first place. Nobody seemed to be in the store besides for the cashier, a dark-skinned human. So people did have jobs here. Huh. This place didn't really interest Zuki at all. ▲ MADE BY VEL OF GS

We're all made of wires, mine are just easier to see. Asphol City. Known for many things here in the hellish afterlife; it was almost a joke to call it Paradise. The central business district that held the monetary system in place by generating continuous need for the hacksilver that lined its residents' pockets. One would have thought the pharaohs of old insane for trying to bring their riches with them after they passed on, but somehow this just proved their wishes true. There was no escaping it, not even in death. The rich will still be on top, no matter where you go. Designation R10-Alpha found himself on yet another menial task imposed by the one he held a debt to. Kali Belgrave was just as many things as Asphol City, but quite a number of them wouldn't get one very far to point out. So Rio held his tongue as he was ordered to retrieve a box of chocolates for her, on his own money no less. The black clerk gave a smirk as the cyborg shuffled through his pockets with a grimace. "Gotcha running her errands again, Alpha?" "Yes."He sighed as he handed over the oddly shaped silver pieces that made due as money here, and the cashier handed over the bag with a knowing smile plastered across his face. "Ms. Belgrave would probably prefer we not talk about it, however." With that the cyborg turned on his heel and gave a matter-of-fact two-finger wave before he began to set off for the exit. However, there appeared to be a gumball machine blocking the way now. No, no. Not a gumball machine. Some bald guy. A double take would have been in order for the typical soul, but Rio was quite capable of adjusting his vision without all that showmanship. "Excuse me." ▲ MADE BY VEL OF GS

Focus 決定 " Oh. Yeah, sorry." Zuki responded to the random blond stranger, not really noticing anything strange about him until he walked past him. Wait a minute, he wasn't made of flesh and blood - was that possible in this world too? He couldn't help but ask, mostly because he hadn't anything better to do but pester a robotic man. He was dead after all, and fairly bored. " Wait." Zuki signaled by tapping his shoulder, though not too hard, as that could potentially lead to disastrous results, as he had found out in life. " Are you really a robot? How does that work?" The bald hero's voice was calm, though somewhat perplexed, truly unsure of how a mechanical being could end up in the afterlife. Maybe he wasn't well versed in the mechanics of things, but the last time he checked, machines didn't have souls. Wait, how could he be so dense? " Wait, you were probably constructed here. Sorry to bother you about this." Though he was highly trained in body and spirit, conversations and charisma had never been his strongest points. " I didn't mean to sound racist, either." Did robots even have feelings? Man, that could potentially be another racist comment. He was really hoping this guy wasn't offended, because a fight in a carry-out would be ironically less than convenient. ▲ MADE BY VEL OF GS

We're all made of wires, mine are just easier to see. "Wait." Rio stopped and stood in place, his core whirring in place as he barely took notice to the bald stranger's tap upon his metallic shoulder. Hopefully this interaction didn't take very long, he did have a primary destination already set after all. He had a duty to see through... no matter how mundane. As the odd man continued on with his questions and further apologies for asking them, the cyborg finally turned to him with no obvious expression across his face. Why would this man apologize for simply trying to expand his knowledge on details he was curious about? Perplexing. Though, Rio did have to keep in mind not to allow his original human emotions and visions escape him. "No, I am not a robot, but do not apologize for mistaking me for one." He held his hand out for the other man to shake it. "My name is Rio, designation R10-A, or Alpha as I've come to be called. I was originally human, but upon my arrival here it was necessary to better my physical form to survive. I suppose you would call me a cyborg."He clenched the plastic bag in his opposite hand closely to his side. This would make him 14 seconds overdue to his set deadline already unless he were to meet Kali along the way back. Luck was never on his side these days, however. "I would like to ask your name, but do keep this brief. I have business to see to."22 seconds. Oh boy. ▲ MADE BY VEL OF GS
